I just wanted to say i LOVE barn bag concentrated feed. We have been using if for a month now and not only do our horses look AMAZING, but, our feed bill is almost cut in half!!!! Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful product. Our horses shine from the inside out!!! Here is a pic of one of our older stb geldings that had suffered from ulcers (not anymore thanks to barn bag) . He has gained so much weight!!!

Thanks for making such great products!
We live in an area of coastal NC where the soil has been depleted. The pastures and local hay is often lacking in the required minerals and vitamins. This would not be a problem if we were feeding four or five pounds a day of good quality horse feed. Unfortunately, if they got that much feed their weight would skyrocket yet a lesser amount would not ensure the minimum requirements.
Barn Bag was the answer since it guarantees the required vitamins and minerals and adds almost no calories. Annie and Tye will be on Barn Bag for life, but in the unlikely event they start to look thin, I’ll just add some oats to their diet.
I have been a full time farrier for over 20 years and have seen the results of numerous brands of hoof supplements. Farrier’s Formula is the only one that consistently produces improved hoof quality. I wouldn’t consider feeding any other hoof supplement to my horse. Walt Shallcross

Thank you for the info. Ace has been on Farriers Formula at replenishment level for about 2 years now (still has a small bit of separation so I haven't reduced to maintenance level), and Barn Bag for about a year.
But I was remiss in not telling you earlier, that your products really are amazing. When I first moved Ace from his boarding barn where he was stalled about 20 hours day and used only in arenas, to a private home with 12 hours of turnout, his feet came apart in chunks -- literally -- one inch pieces of hoof just missing. I was sick with worry. The farrier had to trim every 3 weeks to keep the chunks in check, and started a hoof supplement. Not much improvement within 9 months. At my farrier's recommendation, I tried your product instead. Almost immediately, he got nice new growth and within 6 months he had new beautiful feet. He's at home on 24 hour turn out now and his feet hardly chip even in hard dry summer on rock hard pasture.
Just that bit of wall separation but I keep adding gravel to the parts of their turnout that get muddy as I can afford it so hopefully that helps resolve it.
So besides the feet, Ace was also looking poorly....extremely thin coat, I had to heavy blanket him in winter, he would get scratches even though the turnout was dry and I groomed at least 4 times a week, he'd get crusty scabs on his midline and itching along his neck....the vet wanted to start him on thyroid supplements. But I had gotten your Barn Bag info at Midwest Horse Fair and told her I wanted to see if he was immuno-compromised due to lack of vitamin/minerals (I kept both salt and mineral blocks as well as loose salt and minerals available but he never ate them). Took the mineral block and loose minerals away, gave both horses Barn Bag and woo-hoo! He's wooley now -- only needs a medium weight blanket even in below zero weather, no scratches, no scabs, and itching is now only linked to the biting flies of Wisconsin. And my 7 yr old Dodger has also now got a beautiful thick coat and tail and his mane is thicker too. He didn't even want his blanket when it got below zero this year.
Sorry to go on so long but I am truly impressed with your products and the very visible difference they make in my horses. That's why I was hoping for a senior one too as when I was thinking about the vit/min supplement it was an easy choice to pick yours; knowing Barn Bag had been formulated to be fed along with the Farriers Formula. Plus of course, the horses both love the taste.

I would like to thank you for your recommendation of the “Barn Bag”. My 31 year old mare, Seray, was very sick last year during the winter months. She often had laminitus and the medication she received to cure this lead to several attacks of colic. She became extremely thin and weak. A blood analysis indicated liver damage. Several efforts were made to try to improve her health, but without success. Finally, we introduced the “Barn Bag”. Within 4 weeks of feeding “Barn Bag” her condition improved and the results were evident; her coat shone and she gained weight. She was like a young horse again. After 8 weeks of feeding the blood analysis had very much improved. She is now thriving and enjoys her life again. In addition to feeding her the “Barn Bag” we also give her rolled oats, lots of hay and straw.
I can highly recommend this product to everyone who has an old or very sick horse or pony and who hopes to improve and prolong their horse´s health.
